America United Life Insurance Co. has appointed a new general agency in Richmond, Va., naming Ryan Leggett as general agent.
Leggett is founder and managing partner of Anchor Financial, which will offer the products and services of OneAmerica companies to clients throughout Virginia.

Prior to launching Anchor Financial in 2012, Leggett worked as agency sales director and registered principal for MetLife and as a financial services professional with New York Life. He is active in NAIFA and GAMA.
Anchor Financial has 11 financial professionals in its Richmond office and plans to open another office in Charlottesville, Va., along with two other Virginia locations employing 50 additional financial professionals over the next three years.
AUL is the founding member of OneAmerica, and uses a national network to distribute retirement plans and services, individual life insurance, annuities, long-term care solutions and employee benefits.
